Horseshoes and hand grenades

I took the College Mathematics CLEP exam and passed! Woo hoo! It was close though. You need a score of 50 to pass and I got a 52. A pass is a pass though, close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. So, that’s 6 credits under the belt and it saves me from two math courses at school. Good times!
I’m not particularly good at math. I mean, I can do it, it just takes me a little while to figure it out. I don’t add things up like a calculator, as some people do. It’s also been a long time since I’ve had a math course, so I was a bit rusty. I studied with a CLEP study guide from http://www.finishcollegefast.com/index.htm. I’m now studying for the Natural Sciences CLEP exam. Hopefully I’ll do well…as well.
