It's all about Control

It all comes down to control. We have a big winter storm blowing into town tomorrow and it makes me shudder to think about driving with all the crazy people in the bad weather. That led me to think about something George Carlin said in a comedy special he had. He said "Have you ever noticed that anyone who drives slower than you is an A-Hole and anyone driving faster than you is a maniac. You're the only one who drives the right speed." That is SO true. What it comes down to is control. You have control of your car, so you know what's going to happen with it. You know how fast you're going to drive, how fast you CAN drive and still keep control. Of course, you have NO control over other people's cars, so you always think they're out of control or shouldn't be driving. It's human nature. We fear what we cannot control.
