Venom

So, I WAS going to post a link to a working copy of the next Spiderman 3 trailer, but the link has been removed from the originator. If anyone followed the original link on Ain't It Cool News then you already know. For those who didn't, I wish I could show you the clip. You'll see it soon enough though. I'm sure the trailer will be released in due time. Just to give a quick recap, the trailer runs very similar to the one that played on TV this last week, with a couple of exceptions. The most notable exception is the look at Venom at the end of the trailer. If you saw the original one, it shows Spidey ripping off the black symbiote costume at the top of a bell tower. Apparently Topher Grace followed him in. The black suit drips down through the cracks in the floor and lands on Topher. He falls to his hands and knees as the black suit envelops him. It quickly covers his body and up over his face. He looks up with the sinister Venom grin and opens his gaping mouth as the camera flies right into it. For anyone worried about what Venom will look like, don't. He looks great. We do have yet to see him in action, but if the CGI was anything like what we saw in those few seconds of the trailer, then we'll be well taken care of.
