Get off the couch!!!
Since we’ve had kids, my wife and I haven’t been as active as we’d like. We’re both getting a bit soft in the middle, although when she asks I always say she looks great. What do you think I am, an idiot? Anyway, we kept planning on joining a gym or to start going to the YMCA or something. It never happens. We’ve been saying it for about a year now. The other night, we sat down and looked at our schedule and the free time that we have after getting home from work. We don’t have much. We definitely don’t have enough for both of us to hit the gym. We decided that we’re going to have to buy a piece of exercise equipment and start working out at home. So, cruising around and looking for information and inspiration, we stumbled upon the NoExcusesGym site. It’s a little bit geared toward fitness women, but there is a lot of solid advice there for guys as well. Two things I liked on there are the daily tips for your workout, and I especially like the 20 Ways to Squeeze Exercise into your hectic schedule.
