The call...was not what I thought...but it's not "bad"

So, the call from my potential future employer was an offer as expected. Apparently, two of my references are not returning phone calls. So, I was told to contact them myself and get them to contact her or provide her with two new references. So, I conjured up an additional reference and I contacted both people who were bad a phone tag. Both people who were not returning phone calls told me that they would make the call. So, hopefully they'll do just that and the next call I get will be for an offer. Hopefully.
